Gajalakshmi is the aspect of Goddess Lakshmi who takes care of the fixed assets like land and property, symbolized by  Gajas (elephants) . Inother portrayals of Gajalakshmi, she is shown standing or seated  between elephants, on a lotus in a flowing river. A flowing river symbolizes using flow of money to generate more money. In this picture, however, she is seated in Padmasana on a static throne, indicating the stability of wealth and acquisitions.
